    update on 1975 25hp Johnson

    was able to get out and run motor in a barrel...ran semi fine...does not get too hot to touch (can leave hand 4-5 seconds before starts to get warm)..still doesnt want to idle smooth....does for a couple of seconds then misses and repeats....water is spurting out of exhaust ports that is...

    prop nut size

    i have a 1975 25hp Johnson with a pin drive prop... what size prop nut do i need?? i have a spare evinrude that i can rob for parts. the prop on it is a spline drive but the rubber bushing has been spun out... which prop would be better??? i fish in small lakes and rivers and used a 14ft...
