    i'm looking for a way to ship a 75 hp motor from savannha georgia to chicago. any ideas on a cost effective way? I don't need it in a hurry and I'm not looking for the cheapest. just a way top get it here in 1 piece,without me having to travel a 1000 miles 1 way. thanks

    Floor Covering For Fishing Boat, Paint Or Vinyl

    I"m replaceing the deck on a 16' aluminum fishing boat. it had carpet, always wet. I 'm contemplating either a painted floor or non-skid vinyl floor. pros and cons of each would be appreciated.I may even use a snap in carpet for recreational use, but i mainly use it to fish. Thanks

    can i increase amperage in my 86 suzuki dt75?

    I thought i read somewhere that i could replace the rectifier on my dt75 with a different type and increase amperage by 50%.anybody know anythingabout this. i fish in an area without electricity.

    suzuki dt75 any water trapped in engine?

    I'm getting ready to put my boat away. I have fogged motor, checked lower end for water fine, i resealed lower end 2 months ago.ran carbs dry. is there a chance of any water trapped in the motor.Any thing else I should do before covering with fitted boat cover and storing outside in Chicago area.

    protecting lower end

    I fish in water with alot of rocks.depending on water levels they can be just below surface.Is there any reason why there has never been a bracket or frame to protect lower end, kinda of like a skid plate for 4X4's ? I'm sure there is a reason such as it will rip the hull open. but just courious

    depth finder inside hull of aluminum boat

    Anybody ever try to mount fishfinder inside hull of aluminum boat? I was thinking about cutting small hole in hull an mount the transmitter to a piece of thick plastic an securing it to the hull. I fish in a lake that is full of rocks, it would be nice to know where they were. Just an Idea

    installed new prop,same size and lost speed?

    I damaged my prop so I replaced with another 13 1/2 x 15 whuch is stock for my motor.i was at 6000 rpm and only doing about 28 mpg. with old damaged prop i had it to 34mph( i didn't have a tach at that time). the new prop has a coupler insert with 4 grooves in it and 4 springs with nylon...

    anybody try useing alumaloy to repair an aluminum prop?

    I saw an ad for an aluminum alloy rod that would rebuild the metal on an aluminum case, or fill a stripped hole that could then be retapped. I was wondering if anybody ever tried to repair a prop with this stuff
