    throtle up to Start??

    91 70 hp johnson every time I start the engine I have to throttle it up to keep it running. The key choke will start it but will not keep it running have to throttle up to 1500-1800 for a minute and then it runs great Air temp is only in the 40-50 degree range Carbs rebuilt and fuel pump replaced???

    I need a temp sensor for a 91 70 hp Johnson <br />J70TLEIE #GO263321 I am about an hours drive from a dealer. It has a tan and blue wire. Occassionally it will kick motor into SLOW mode shut down restart every thing is fine ??? Just want to replace it unless some one has a better idea???

    Idle RPM on 70hp johnson

    I just got my boat out of the shop had all the carbs rebuilt and engine tuned. Idle rpm is about 1100 rpm on the ears. I thought this was a little high. Mechanic said he likes to set older johnnys at that rpm mine is a 1991???
