    I've already posted a couple questions about my (new to me) 1975 Evinrude 115. I'm sorry if I should have just posted my questions in a single thread, but I can't seem to remember them all at once! Anyway, should I use higher octane gas with this older two stroke?

    Old Evinrude 115 - Tachometer and Temp Gauges?

    I recently acquired a 1975 Evinrude 115 and I would like to add a tachometer and temp gauges to it. Does this engine already have some sort of signal output for a tach? Any specific tach gauge required? And as far as a temp gauge.. is there already something in place to measure temp? If not...
