    I would like to put one of the multi function aftermarket gauges on my 04/05 Yam F115 (build date is 10/04). Is there any electronic info that can be taken off my engine. Nema 0183? Anybody else done this little project?

    stiff throttle on Yam F115

    New to me boat has a stiff throttle. Seller told me dealer said it was normal on this boat and motor. Doesn't sound right to me. Anyway I opened up 703 remote and fooled with tension adj. and no change. Was this just a poor setup by dealer or is there another adj. somewhere? thanks

    Extra plug in F115?

    I started poking around my new to me 2005 four stroke 115 and found a male plug laying in starboard side of engine. Has pink,grey,orange and black wires. Any one know what the heck this is? Engine runs fine. Randy

    70 HP OMC WOT- only getting 5000

    Motor is 70 hp 1985 Evinrude that seems to run good on 17 ' Boston Whaler with 13 X 17 prop. But cannot get over 5000 on Tach.<br /> Removed VRO today and just for kicks pulled cover over carbs. and checked WOT. The valves inside carbs only seem to open about 1/2 way.
