    I am rebuilding a 2-line pressure tank, I need to recoat the cork float. The original coating is peeling and seems to be shellac or varnish. What coating is recommended for use with todays fuel? Any help would be appreciated.

    I am rebuilding a 10 hp Evinrude 1960, what is the procedure for re-instlling the armature plate, should the support and retaining ring be removed cleaned and lubricted. Also what product should I use on the power head gasket and carb to power head gasket. thanks

    1960 Evunrude 10 hp carb rebuild ques.

    Rebuilding the carb, upon dismantleing, there was no clip on the float and pin. Is this normal on some carbs, I noticed that the pin was not grooved for a clip. Should I install the new rubber tip pin with a groove and a clip, or use the all metal original without a clip.

    Gale lower unit question

    I have a 1956 Sea King 5 (Gale) it is the non shift model GG9001C. I have located the drain screw but have am having trouble locating the vent screw. Sounds crazy but I could sure use some direction.
