    Which carb on the top?

Re: Which carb on the top? This rough diagram of my setup might help. That fitting (in red) is the fuel feed coming from the fuel pump. The fuel flows into the top carb, fills up and then fills the bottom carb via the connecting hose.

    Which carb on the top?

I took my carbs off to teach myself how to rebuild and clean them and took a bunch of pictures so I'd remember how they went on and were setup. One picture that I didn't take was to figure out which bowl went with which carb. In the screenshot I've attached, you'll see that one of the bowls has...

I'd say you can give it about 3/4 throttle before this starts to happen. I have no idea what this might be so any help would...

    Idling issue in the water

I have been experiencing an issue where my motor (1983 50hp Johnson - J50BELCTA) will not idle in the water but will idle fine on land with muffs on. I got some helpful direction here on the forums to clean/rebuild my carbs as they are likely the cause. After taking off the intake covers, I...

I recently had some overheating issues with my 97 Sears Gamefisher Outboard 15hp. I changed out the impellar which was in bad shape and put everything back together. The motor is psitting out a little water now, but no where near the amount it sprayed before the issues occured. I went through...
