Note: ARP makes good bolts but if you use ARP then do NOT use the Merc manual torque spec, use only to torque spec that come with the bolts

2002 5,7 Mercruiser exhaust manifold keeps cracking - 5 times this summer

I'm at a loss, and I would think about removing the single/three point drain and change to the seven point. Changing to seven point would get rid of the check balls and replace them with 90* elbows https://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassembly/31961/8093/210

Place intake gaskets in place, then put a bead of the black RTV starting on top the intake gasket about 1/2 inch. Run bead across and up on the other gasket about 1/2 inch. Don't get any sealer in the oil sending unit hole on the rear

Not sure that puller will work to pull a gimbal bearing. First use lower holes May need something to apply pressure the keep fingers separated. Then also need to have bolt able to press against something fixed

    mercruiser 4.3 thermostat housing

Only think needed is different gaskets between manifold and elbow. The LX used what was called warm manifolds and more cold water would flow out the elbow. The EFI changes so any water not used to cool motor goes out thru the mans then out the elbows

Don't think we have any attorney's here, and since a F150, 250 and 350 all have the same body, and differences come from chassis changes.
