I've looked over the entire assembly for damage and there is none. The assembly moves freely and can be pushed into place by hand with a little effort. For the life of me can't see why the reverse lock hooks won't go down far enough to latch on the thrust bar when under power. I can't figure out...
On my Sea Nymph restoration I was on the last leg of my motor refresh and down to putting the oil in the lower unit. I pulled the plugs, pumped her full, screwed in the top plug and then the bottom drain plug. The new stainless plug wouldn’t tighten, I mean at all, if I let go it would just fall...
I found out that I couldn't just go get new axle seals for the easy loader made in 1978 at the parts houses. I ended up having to call EZ Loader, give them my trailer VIN and they gave me the part # to order on their website.

Sorry about that holly I thought you meant the plate was on the transom. This is my ID plate on my Johnson and it should be on the starboard side of the bracket but your's is newer and different HP so I'm not sure if they would have moved it elsewhere.
