    Thanks Micky. I got the base coat on the cowling, after it cures a bit, gonna clear coat it, and put decals over the clear. One of the bolts broke off when removing the vent cover, so i had to drill that out and re-tap it, so that took a while.

    Contact Sea Ray, get the Gel Cote number from them. Then contact Spectrum, a sponsor of our forum, and they will get you the correct mix, tho it may vary because of sun fading after 18 yrs.

    lol, I wasnt looking for another, but I always wanted one, and for next to nothing in price, I cant pass it. It has the outdrive setup, steering, but no engine, no engine hatch cover, no grabrail or seats. Does have a clean title supposedly. I wont start on it till the CM is done tho.

    If you do an extensive glass laminate schedule, the core becomes less important. Thats why some OEM builds cored with foam, or just hollow boxed stringers. I use whats available to me and glass it all in nice and beefy.
