    They do but the cash outlay can sometimes be spread so It doesn't hurt so bad. I've never bought a new boat, can't afford it, but I can prioritize the shortcomings of the old boat and hopefully keep it going awhile.

    Yep mine was the same, cockpit hatch on the starboard and quarter berth on the port. Why the liner was cut is a mystery.

    If it's anything like my old 27 there's very little space between the hull and inner liner. The only reason to cut it would be to back up a motor mount. IMHO

    Oil pressure

    This hose is probably connected to the drain on the oil pan for draining the oil thru the garboard drain hole. the hose may have a leak in it. it's not oem so wouldn't show up in a manual.

    I pay no attention to anything coming from the Internet anymore. Too much BS . I regularly delete emails and text without ever opening them. Snail mail is even suspect but at least I can open an envelope without it sending a notification back to the sender alerting them that I opened said message.

    Being around sailboats I've seen a lot of blisters and quite honestly most of the blisters return. You must get the entire hull laminate dry before patching or they just pop up again.     Well we have survived and it's forecast to be close to 60f soon. Heat pump is frozen solid and haven't had any mail or deliveries since last Tuesday. Still have a few groceries left but no booze so it's time. :)

    My 1980 CC scorpion 210 was old enough it had no fiberglass interior, just vinyl covered plywood panels and the jump seats just sat on a couple of rails. I had a rude awakening when I got the 1995 searay 220.

    I've decided most I/Os are like that if it has a sundeck and bench seat. A dog house and jump seats are much better for engine access but are rarely seen after 1980.
