So I get the motor questioning. Your real efforts should be focused on the integrity of the boats wood structures, stringers, cross members and transom. Those determinations will tell you what real work lies ahead of you. Some of your pics from the stern area already show rot that will lead...
That will wet out real nice, bends and turns get easier. Just do double down on glass. I just started using some 9 oz. and it looks fake to me cause I'm so use to 1700 with eeppooxxy.
Structural use may want to do more than 2. It just wets out so easy.

1 line comes off fuel solenoid that feeds carbs
1 line comes off fuel pump that feeds carbs
Each carb has a recirculation line that feeds unfired fuel in a loop from top to bottom sump.
