    Hi, So I get the motor questioning. Your real efforts should be focused on the integrity of the boats wood structures, stringers, cross members and transom.     That will wet out real nice, bends and turns get easier. Just do double down on glass. I just started using some 9 oz. and it looks fake to me cause I'm so use to 1700 with eeppooxxy. Structural use may want to do more than 2. It just wets out so easy. I can't help ya with your question...
