    Misters

Yea, I had to Google it too, I see a fundamental problem with keeping the nozzles from clogging. The concept is good but distilled water would be the only way for it to be useful for any length of time.

    1975 oday 22

Your going to need something to keep your batteries charged, the minimal electrics your boat came with was for a reason, Oday just gave enough to be legal and didn't anticipate the current desires. I swapped all my lighting to LED and that helped a bunch. Not too discourage you but you may want...

    1975 oday 22

You could try to lube the bearings with some clock oil, keystone is a good one, other than that it's probably seen better days but could be repaired. They're still around as a lot of folks have them on small boats with no house power..

    Mercruiser 165 alternator mashup?

The alternator is cooled by a fan and fumes in the bilge will be pulled into it. It has spark from the brushes that could have blown you up. The marine alt has screens in the vents that are meant to dissipate any flame. I believe the aircraft industry uses oil cooled units. Jmho

    Fogging thru carburetor

Yep and that's what I would do if my boat was in the north and in the salt. My boat is in the TN river. Your help with my elbows was special, they were 35 years old and rusted to nothing and honestly the mani's are pretty close to done. But to be honest I think feeding AF into the system will...
