    TimeUSB LifePO4 battery issues

Just an update on my Time USB 140 ah battery. With boating season close now, decided to do the first full charge. Was cool because phone app told me what state the charge was in and how long until full charge. Full charge holds 147 ah. Glad to see over the rated capacity. Bought an inverter...

    Critters in My Boat

There are do it yourself shrink wrap kits and you need a heat gun not a torch. From what I hear they are not cheap but neither is repairing your interior and wiring. Radio noise does not need to be loud, and a couple lights going on and off with a small timer does work, I have used that one...

Decarb with spring startup Yamaha 200 ox66 2 stroke

I see very little black crud dripping out and little to no smoke when it starts from the sea foam. If the carbon buildup is heavy, your motor will look like your whole house is on fire !

Seller would be lucky to get 200 in my area, for the 450 it would need to be in running order, with everything's by in tact.

Decarb with spring startup Yamaha 200 ox66 2 stroke

Unless you do an awful lot of idling, you should not have a decarb issue. I use the sea foam as well, but just spray some into the carb while on its initial startup in my drive on muffs. Let it soak for a short while then run it again. My 1992 Merc doesn't have much buildup,

    Critters in My Boat

I have had them climb up the walls and the studs, crawl across and drop down from above !!! Back when my grandson had ducks and the mice were after the food. Started using 30 gallon trash can with a plastic bag liner. Once the food was closed up tight, the majority went elsewhere for easier...

    Critters in My Boat

Yes, and have lights on timers, how often have you saw mice in lighted areas ! Neighbor had two lights in his barn, on timers so one went off, the other went on at different ends of the barn. Another guy used an old scratchy recording of folks talking and walking around. Both methods greatly...

1979 chrysler 4 hp carburetor squirting fuel

In my younger days ( currently 74 yrs old), we often used a heavy thread or cord coated with grease as a packing material, sometimes we used small cork gaskets coated in grease then moved up to O rings if we could find ones that fit. More recently they made packing washers, but not sure what...

    Critters in My Boat

In my experience, you have to go after them whole hog at the start ! Make sure there is no food in the area to attract them. Set numerous traps and these are the only places to have food. Traps for big and small critters are needed at the same time. Once you start getting hits on traps, then...

2019 Grand Cherokee came with wrong size spare....Just found it out

No longer worth changing your own, at my age, changing a flat along a highway is not something I want to do anymore. I have been carrying road coverage on my insurance, for 25 bucks a year, my insurance co will send someone out to bring gas or change a flat tire. Never ran out of gas but have...
