Custom made is the only choice if you want the cover to fit properly and keep out the rain. Expensive, yes but well worth it in the long run. Aftermarket covers don't last very long where my custom covers have lasted at least 10 years and many far longer.
Yep...cheapest and easiest is to suck out and flush your tank then add a good filter before the motor. I always start with the more obvious, cheaper, quicker methods of trouble shooting to try and solve a problem...having a clean tank and fresh fuel is always a good place to start.

All true if your ramp is deep enough....in order to float my boat onto the trailer, my Jeep would be in the water axle deep and that is with an extension on the tongue ! Only one ramp in my area is deep and that one is so busy you can wait an easy hour just to launch...
