    Post 30 said the battery voltage is collapsing to 10 volts. Is the battery voltage still collapsing to 12 or 10 volts ? Do you know that is probably a worn out starter or starter contactor ? Or simply a run down battery ? You need a real marine mechanic. DIY is not doing the job.

    You have loose and corroded big battery cables. Remove and clean the bat5tery posts and inside of the cable clamps on them. Might be so bad that a replacement is needed.

    A load of rigid top Center Consoles 18 to 25 Length. 1/4 mile from a dealer. On a busy state road. ob and ib. Very depressing to not see the number of them not changing. WE have almost no private or large freighters on the river.

    Well the only real difference in operating the 10 or updated 11 system. Is finding the turn it off button on the screen. :) It took me about 5 minutes to find out how to turn it off.     Yes Boat was coming out of winter storage. Charge battery. Tilt and drain water. 1 second of dry engine idle before taking it off of trailer. Ordered new parts. The decades slip by so easily and quickly. I am lucky that my motors do not need PM. They just keep running.

    My fish finders aremost important when I go very shallow to go into flooded ponds. I get the fish by trolling and casting. I like using my experiences on where they should be. I use sonar when I need fish for a senior meal.
