    Did you adjust the idle mixture screw ? Did you also adjust the fuel pump squirter screw ? Or the linkage holes ? Did you also adjust the idle speed screw ? Did you adjust the Distributor timing position ? Did you change the piston that moves up and down ? Did you keep the piston flexible part...

    If you set the idle mixture screw TOO LEAN. It will not want to restart easily when warmed up.

    I would never use lag bolts where water splashes up and wicks into crevices. Why not S S nuts, bolts and washers where needed ? I use Silicone sealant. Silicone is very gentile, when pulled apart with a hair dryer, to loosen it up. Done it.

    How many tanks of gas have run thru the sparkplugs in the engine ? Pull them out See if they are coated a lot with black oil. You might just need new sparkplugs. Check and reset gaps BEFORE installing.

    Borax and sugar in a bowl of water. Kills the queens everytime.

    I have shifted To Borax and salt in parts of the drive way turnaround area. Get several years before animals bring in new seeds. In their poop.
