    1960 Evinrude propeller hub replacement

It is relatively simple process IF you have the tools. Removing a MELTED hub is a very labor intensive process. I did 1. What a frustrating time. I did not realize I had taken almost a hour from start to finish to completely remove the torn and melted hub from both parts. I buy new now.

2002 5,7 Mercruiser exhaust manifold keeps cracking - 5 times this summer

To me it sounds like at WOT speed the water is reduced greatly there. It gets a super hot pocket. The motor slowing down finally causes the water to hit the casting spot causing a thermal shock crack. But only a different manufacturer of the manifold would ever prove something like that.

    Transom replacement or design flaw?

Your stern was built to cheaply. You are now a designer. Post some / a lot of pictures of top, outside showing the rivets, thickness of the transom top, how far down the inside of plywood extends. My gut instinct says we do a complete redesign to spread out the thrust to the very corners of...

WHY I HATE RUSTOLEUM AEROSOL PAINT

Shake until the steel ball knocks ALL that SLUDGE loose in the bottom. You should be able to slowly twirl the bottom around. And hear that ball rolling PERFECTLY free. Some people are too fast on the spray button. That causes the lighter parts to spray out. Ruining the rest of the can.

    Should I Buy A Jackplate

Jack plates are NEEDED in overpowered boats. But they can set the motor farther away from the transom plate NORMALLY used. Further causing a stern low overpowered boat to squat even lower. Some Jacks can cause a quick boat slow down, to force the stern wake to pour into the boat.

The Electrical Code is now very dangerous when D C and AC equipment are being fused in either POSITIVE line or NEGATIVE line. With also 120 vac grounds from the 120 vac charger wires and neutrals being tied to them. Not a safe practice if the Non Positive fuses blow open. If the Negative fuses...

mOST NORMAL FUSES HAVE A 300 % CAPACITY FOR QUITE A WHILE. fUSES / CIRCUITBREAKERS ARE NORMALLY SIZED TO PROTECT THE WIRES FEEDING POWER TO THE DEVICE.
