    The water came from the sky. By leaving the hull plug in/not clearing the drain the precipitation was allowed to collect in the bilge, hence the boat sank on land

    Land sinker. Remove garboard/hull plug(s) immediately after loaded onto a trailer/hauled out Change oil/filter multiple times, replace the starter and any other electrical device/wiring that was saturated

    TBI volvo ought to be mefi controlled Pretty straightforward connection most often located near the fwd end of the wiring harness. Otherwise look near the ecm for said connection. Should have a weather cap in place

    Someone from my past who's forgotten more about outboard motors that i could ever learn once told me "there's no nevers or always with boats" Sometimes it's the coil, rare yes. But sometimes It doesn't hurt anything to install a new, proper coil.

    Adjust the serpentine belt slack

    Tensioner assembly is mounted to the engine block. There is no adjustment save for releasing the tension to remove the belt using a 3/8" drive ratchet and appropriate socket, like 15mm?

    There's little difference between the combustion chamber cleaner you mentioned, power tune and water Steam clean the engine Another trick an ol boy told me once is to add a quart of atf to the crankcase a few hours prior to an oil/filter change. Frees up sticky lifters? Might just be a ford thing
