Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

LOL ... crazy, but yes. Kodak even. And then ... even crazier ... there are places out there to have it processed.

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

Had some fun in the last couple of months. I snagged two of Dad's cameras after he passed and shot some photos. Real live film photos from a 1950s era Zeiss Camera: They were shot a while ago. I just got around to getting the processing done.

    Amazing 3D Printing

Actually - you can do a lot through some freebie software out there. The printer should have software you can download for it to actually print. Some of the 3D software that is available open source is VERY good. I'm using one of them for design work. If you want names, let me know.

    Amazing 3D Printing

GM if you've never looked into 'em ... and have a nice one ... do a little research. It is VERY impressive what they are capable of. I toured the National Transportation Research Lab in Knoxville and their 3D printing lab ... I was blown away by what can be done. Literally printing metal gear...

... and by that time, you're too board to be paying close attention. You don't see the rats nest for another three hours.

    Lowe line boat

Outboard looks like an early 70s Evinrude. Taking a guess at 9.5 based on the boat size. Welcome aboard.

    daily music fix

Haven't been up to the museum at Whitefish or to the cathedral in Detroit in a while. Both are cool places if you want to see some neat stuff on the "Fitz."

So, what did you do today?

Let 'em do what DI's do ... his mom and I have probably wanted to some of it most of his life ;)

    Diningroom table - with epoxy?

I agree. I liked doing the smaller floods better. I could see what was happening ... and felt like I could control the bubbles a little bit more with the smaller pour. I avoided sanding because I didn't want the risk of what I was making that I couldn't buff everything out. I really wanted a...

So, what did you do today?

Real homemade applesauce! Wow, haven't had that in a while. Nice. Today was a wild day. Shipped the boy off to the USAF. He did a good job working out his options, killed it on his ASVABs and is now off to Lackland AFB.

    Doral 250se

Never seen one either myself. I'm sure people have made them as they've worked, or someone may have gotten hold of some old manufacturing diagrams, but I've never seen any.

    Diningroom table - with epoxy?

I can't quite picture in my head exactly what you're doing with the epoxy, but here's what I learned by not doing the full flood: level ain't as level as you think it is. I didn't plane my surface down, but I had purchased a factory finished table top. Apparently, either from the profile...

    Evinrude motor Purchase?

Can't tell you how they're handling warranties, but parts and service should be no problem on them. Parts should be pretty available for the foreseeable future.

    89 owners manual

Likely can't: boats don't have manuals like cars generally speaking. Probably get a shop manual for the outboard, and then ask questions on the forum for the rest of it. Welcome aboard.

    Buying Used Boat

Nope. Not always. Eventually stuff breaks, but a complete rebuild isn't always necessary.
