    Well I am such and idiot, a boat alternator does not look the same as a car alternator. At least not for this model. How about the boat not having a power steering pump? Do I really needed?

    This engine belongs to a 1985 four winns 195 Horizon cuddy. I have not been able to find any info on this engine. I don't think it comes with an alternator, anyway it doesn't have one. It looks like the power steering pump was taken off. Do I need it? Some threads state that its ok to leave it...
