    This isn't a repair issue, I have full knowledge of any issues present with the mcm package My plan is to remove the engine/running gear from the boat, snag a couple other neat parts and ditch the boat Figured original forum was better suited than a repair forum.

    Agree, but this is concerning a boat I wish to disassemble It is a sterndrive. Mercruiser brand and has a newer vintage long block in place MCM 260, GM 5.7L with appropriate mc-1 style (model) drive and transom assembly Boat is 1982 formula/thunderbird 20 SC with a really cool hour meter...
