    Check the little battery label on the side of the battery. It is a month / last 2 year digits. Batter should NOT BE OLDER than 6 months.

    You may have a vacuum in your gas tank? Unscrew the gas tank cap completely to be sure. If it is a high vacuum condition. Make sure all fuel line connections are fully seated.
