    So group I had a look at the block, muffler, adapter plate for signs of freezing and did not see any obvious damage. Are there any common places or things I can to to make sure there is no damage before I start to shovel $ at buying parts ?

    Just called the dealer and the crank is discontinued and zero left in stock they were selling for $230 like @racerone said Anyone know of one ?

    Update ..... If anyone is following Picked up the parts tonight $25 Crank is shot :( I should get two rods crank rings Starting motor Lots of other extra parts I am going to check into a new crank Put a wanted ad on the local classifieds had a few responses

    So back from a week at the cabin, I have the block, crank, rods and pistons in the truck awaiting for my next move. I have found a local guy selling parts for this motor that i plan to go look at and probably pick up for the right price

    Moyer is apart cylinders have a bit of rust, rods and crank have marks also but not pitting. One of the crank rings was broken between the cylinders

    Ffffffffffff I think this is a game ending problem combine it with a motor rebuild and unknown jet pump condition Kinda bummed out

    Removed the flywheel tonight, put the new bearings in the hubs and reassembled but found some bad issues that might be game ending When water was draining out of the boat it was comming out around the jet pump I thought it needed to be resealed, looked under and no intake grate hummm weird...

    Took the boat out for a drive to let the water drain out of it. I noticed that water looked like it was draining out around the jet pump :( and the intake grate is missing

    I checked the pump oil and did not see any water NO beer money will be spent until the full story of this boat is known Guess I will have to wait until next week to see if the motor wants to come out

    So what type of coupling is from the motor to the jet drive ? I have the motor mounts backed off and the some wiring disconnected. Just waiting on some help to pull the motor to bring it up to the garage. Working outside in the cold sucks :( Any tips or tricks I should be aware of ? Thanks...

    The PO was driving it around with for sure one of the plugs open. This confirms the story that when the owner was driving this boat it was dumping water in the hull
