    Hey folks, i have a 5.7 with a 1409 Edelbrok carb that has a rough idle/shake. Engine evens out once i give it the slightest throttle. The engine has new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. I am not really a carb fan or much knowledge about them. What could i start looking at?

    Any recomendations on any other efi system that might work. I have read mixed feelings about the holley EFI. My replacement, if any, is a long way ahead so for the time being i am doing reading and research.
