    Agree...hate 3 strand. Had it on my last boat and swore to never buy it again. However, braided is MUCH harder to splice to put around a thimble.

    There are many types of rope that are made with polyester. Mine is a braided polyester and I assure you it doesn't float. Polyproline used for ski lines does float. When you say Poly, you are talking shorthand for many types of material. This is what I use...

    I use 250' of 1/2 braided plus 25' of 1/4" chain for a 26' boat on Lake Tahoe. I use a Fortress anchor.

    Yep....my only option is black. Mine has the strap on the circumference of the cover with ratchets to tighten it. First cover I have ever had that uses that method and is a great way to get the cover nice and tight.

    Does Chaparral have an OEM cover that fits it? I make my own covers but there is no way I could duplicate the OEM cover that I have for my Cobalt. It fits like a glove. When my current cover wears out, I am buying another Cobalt cover. They are expensive but worth it in my opinion.

    Michigan wheel sells propellers globally. They also have manufacturing globally. Personally, I would have ZERO hesitation buying a Korean manufactured propeller. My Solas props for my Mercruiser Bravo 3 are made in Taiwan...great props. How did this propeller thread get so off topic?

    Well that's good. Most people that have those typically never run them in thru hull mode after awhile....especially with small blocks. They sound ok with big blocks...with small blocks they are kinda lame. Not showing my age...just not compensating for something...LOL
