    cooking

FH, Go wifi, not Bluetooth. So much more range. I'm using the one below. I've tested all 4 probes against my instant read and all are within 2 degrees. I love that they have 2 sensors per probe, one for the meat, and one for the air temp. The current 140 price can be beat if you are...

    cooking

I have not done a rotisserie. Like many things in life, I simply dont have the right equipment. :ROFLMAO: Buying an offset smoker in the spring. It will be a learning curve, but I am looking forward to the experimentation.

    cooking

I've been using the Chef John method for cooking prime rib in the oven. It comes out perfect every time. I've tried it in the smoker, and it just never seems to have the right texture. Just made it for Christmas, and it was deelish. I also used Spiceology brand prime rib seasoning this year...

    Sky ski?

Don't fasten the velcro around the ankle. Better to have binding a little sloppy than to not have it come off in a fall. Too great of risk for ankle injuries. I was worried about that with my new slalom bindings. First experience with the new high tech stuff. Everyone said to leave em a...

    Sky ski?

Not sure what kind of trick skis you have had, Scott, but that's not been my experience. If you have the newer type lace up biddings, you can't lace the upper lace too tight so it does release in a fall. I have those on my new slalom ski and new combos I bought last year. Like these: I've...

    Sky ski?

Trick skiing is easy, as long as you go slow enough. Go too fast and those things are rollerblades on ice. Now, learning tricks, that's not as easy. If you can waterski, trick skiing is very doable. Nobody said you needed to slalom trick ski and do wake 360's. :) Only need to go about...

    Sky ski?

I say you spend more time in the water than on it when trick skiing! 😁

    Sky ski?

Tried it once unsuccessfully. Was a guy on my mom's lake that was awesome. Fun to watch, but not for me. They are expensive. Got a pair of trick skis? Those are a lot of fun and slow speeds so low impact.

    KY ABC Auction

10 Year Eagle Rare has an MSRP of about 40 bucks. I have 2 bottles currently. Guessing those bottle on the auction are Eagle Rare 10 Yr Prentice Lawrenceburg. Those are very expensive (found some for 2K online).

    KY ABC Auction

The secondhand market on high end whiskey is unbelievable. Almost always sells for well over MSRP. Some places run lotteries to buy it, and those are typically sold at or near MSRP, but I've never been lucky enough to have my number drawn...yet. :)

    Car Hood Boats

LOL. We used to pull water toy type tubes behind the snowmobiles. Pile 4-6 kids on one tube, and the last one on was the winner. Looking back, I'm amazed none of us got hurt.

    Covid!

Both my mom and MIL got AFIB shortly after receiving Covid boosters. Not 100% sure they were related to the shots, but seemed pretty coincidental...especially that it happened to both of them. Neither had issues prior.

    Barefoot skiers?

Skied barefoot (no shoe skis) for the first time in 6 or 7 years today. Dang it felt good!

    A need to vent moment

Agreed. Well said aspeck. I also feel you did no wrong, tphoyt. I find in both business and my personal life to try to adhere to the rule of being respectful of others time. It's the one thing we can never get back. Some just have no respect for other peoples time...now more than ever it seems.

    Barefoot skiers?

Haven't skied New Years in quite a few years. It's a ton of work, and I'm lazy. :p Just put all new interior in that boat last fall and new tunes. Skiing less and cruising more these days. Thanks for the reminder I haven't taken any pics of it on the water with the new threads. I found an...

    Boat Lift Question

My cantilever Shore Station lift only has pulleys on the front (shore side) of the cradle. As dingbat stated, the other end is hinged and shouldn't need a cable.
