    w The cable housing has been attached to the drive unit and routed through the transom and into the boat. From what I understand, we have the correct routing. when you installed it was it as straight as possible while you screwed it in the housing and then routed it?

    Is the outdrive seized instead? Remove the V cover and look, it you find loose spring and collars you have a dropped valve and need to pull the head for any repairs

    the inside of the bellow looks funky. bearings dont seize unless water was in there. Just beat it off with a hammer

    you need multiple lengths of 2 x 4 3,4,5,6 place a block of wood, raise drive untill it no, longer moves, go down all the way, place the next larger block,raise drive untill movement stops, lower drive place the next larger block and do it again. by the time you get to the 5 inch one it...

    a edelbrock 1409 or a carter AFB ,it is a marine one. seeing fuel in the bottom of the carb or intake may mean a float has been compromised and is flooding the motor Same thing happened to mine

    might need a few different sizes , 2.3.4.5 lower the drive ,place a piece of wood that fits between the top of the drive and the transom housing, raise drive, lower drive add a bigger block, etc.
