    2005 5.0 gxi-b belt jumped and wiped out,

    the waterpump(circulator pump) pulley is twice as wide as the others, the belt sat flush on the pulley and did not hang over so what you see as out of alignment i believe is just the extra wide surface. regardless i hae a new pulley to install. i will check the pump for loosener though

    i have this boat that was taken apart before i came along and it has 3" risers. i am not sure which gaskets to use. the parts description shows both open and restricted. is it restricted below and open above?is it all open? all restricted? help please

    anyone have luck with aftermarket v/p fuel pump assy?

    i need a new pump assembly but the 1500 dollar price tag for a v/p pump is ridiculous. this is the assembly with the high/low pump in the same assembly. the one for the mpi engine an bolts to the front of the engine. this boat already had 1 aftermarket pump that lasted 3 years.

    i have this boat, 2000 searay w/ 5.0 engine, there is a tee and garden hose coming off it to the back of the transom. looks like a flush out or something like that. i cant see how this will keep the impeller from frying.

    i think what we are looking at is a expansion/core plug which is supposed ot be there. V/P maniolds do not have the fitting on the middle of the manifold like the mercs. that hole and core plug should be sealed.

    so this boat is really kicking the crap outta me. 1st the fuel system overhaul now i notice the fuel gauge is not moving. i dumped 25 gallons of gas in it and it has not budged. i cant find any info on how to run a diagnostic on the smartcraft system.

    if its a 1 time deal, call a tow truck company, they will come with a tow truck and lift it out for you and just charge for the time. they lift it out, you bolt it to an engine stand, do what you need to do snd call them back when ready
