    They will mix fine, and the chances of damaging the Engine are Nil as you will just end up with an Oil that is tiny bit more Viscous than 10w-30

    Welcome to iboats If all the Pistons are moving, then I doubt a Rod is broken. One or More may be bent, which can cause Binding. I suspect you are going to have to split the Crankcase and take a look inside Pull the Heads off first, and see if something is stopping a Piston

    You aren't familiar with the 1960s OMC V4s. 3 mpg would be Exceptional, a Stop the Presses Achievement.

    I doubt that Engine would hold together for long at 7000 rpm, so I suspect the Tach is way off. Idle speed in gear should be around 600 - 650 rpm. If you have 1000+ in gear Idle, the gearcase will be taking a Beating when shifting

    No it is Not the Same as SeaFoam, as it actually does soften Carbon, so as to free up sticky Rings. SeaFoam, being mostly a very light Oil, simply makes a lot of Smoke Merc's Power Tune is also Superior to SeaFoam, CRC makes a couple of Good Combustion Chamber Cleaners too. Granted todays...

    Do You have a Spark that can consistently jump a 5/16" gap on both Plugs? Did you replace/clean and set the Points, to 0.020"?

    Well there are 3 Carbs and associated Fuel Lines, a few Oil Recirculation Lines/Hoses, Intake Manifold and Carb Gaskets, Crankcase Gaskets/Seals, as well as a VRO Pump, all of which can Leak.
