    Just looked up link n sync in my seloc manual. Mine us D4 and i already had it at spec which is roller between the 2 marks. I dont see more info. Yall make it sound like theres more. I'll try to find the throttle wire linkage info.

    I thought link n sync was the roller at the 2 marks when the buttrrfly just starts to move? Which i did. Ill read more. Hes showing that the seevice bulletin said the roller should actually be 1/4" to the left. Hes a nice, smart guy... not a boob👍

    My mechanic buddy says not thermostat but when i let go and feel the Force i feel thermostat dissonance. Correct plugs: i use manual specs. I gapped them(.03 or .028, forgot which). I use Johnson/evinrude 2 stroke oil, 50:1.

    Good news is that I cleaned the spark plug wire connections and she ran fantastically in higher rpm's!! But, she does snort some when in low rpm's and warming up. but after warming up, in low rpm's, she still snorts but only a little. I don't think the thermostat works. The "pee" never is more...

    Ok. I'll take a pic. I cannot honestly remmber a "STOP" under the flywheel. Ill give it a look. I appreciate yhe help very much! I feel hopeful🤞 I never had a boat and i looove fishing!

    Hi, this is my first boat. 1988 25hp johnson. She starts right up, never a problem. BUT, she sneezes and turning the idle screw helps just a little bit. When i tried running her on a lake she just wouldnt go faster and was very very unsteady sppeed. I cleaned carb, new fuel pump, new fuel tank...

    thanks for advice👍 i know sellers lie👍but sometimes you can tell. it's hot starting good now!!! when i used a garbage can, it peed. ocors it might be something else. i was choking it to start it. thats what seller did. well, i learned i shouldn't. anyway, it hot started 6 times with no problems...

    seller said it has new impeller. i do believe it. it im now tryng it for the 4th day. it peed yesterday at first start but then i couldnt hot start. right now it starts but is not peeing. so maybe new impeller. i had it in a garbage can of water when it peed. today i have the muffs on and no pee.
