    Bilge pump wiring

Bilge pump circuit should be wired directly to the battery to prevent this situation Sounds like bad pump switch Your shorting the manual and override circuits connecting them together. You must have a 3 way switch for it to work. It doesn't matter, Ground is Ground.

Intermittent electrical none start no Accessories power, power returns by its self

Intermittent power problems are easy to track as long as your systematic and don't make any assumption with your troubleshooting. You always start at the source (battery) with power problems. If you have power there, move to the next device, ie main circuit breaker. Circuit breakers are...

Anyone familiar with Hynautics Hydraulic Steering?

It appears to be a "sealed" (can't rebuild) cylinder although replacement cost is a bit steep for a throw away cylinder. Have you tried twisting the end caps off the ends of the tube? https://www.ezyglide.com/replacement-parts

    Fuel problem survives engine replacement

Check to see if someone removed the anti-siphon valve from the fuel tank. If you have the slightest leak whatsoever in the fuel delivery system the fuel will siphon back into the fuel tank over time

    Blue sea circuit breaker help

    Blue sea circuit breaker help

Depends on how your switch is setup. Typically battery 1 is connected to the motor for start and charging purposes. Battery 2 is typically wired to the power the "house" loads. If you took the battery lead (big red wire) from battery 1 and put it on battery 2 and nothing worked, battery 2...

I fish a pretty big pond. Anywhere from 1/2 to 2.5 hour run to the fishing grounds. It's the 6 to 8 hours of trolling that gets me Mine is pretty good. Rare to not start on the second crank with temps above freezing. Once warm, a quick turn of the key and I'm off. Here is what I use with two...

Older boat/ motor and New Electronics

I run 9" chart plotter, 9" fish finder, VHF, CD, NMEA 2k network and wash down. A grp. 27 battery couldn't keep up a full 8 hour day with 30 amp output and an hour of run time Keep in mind that you only get 10 amps for every 1 hour of run time above 1500 rpm Multiply your run time (above 1500)...
