I got all the bottom planks cut and the existing 4 I wanna say strakes sanded ? Those were a little worn but still in good shape so gunna reuse them . I’ll fill the old holes with some hairy epoxy pb . Then redrill . Next up I need to cut the butt blocks for the plank end joints and install them...
Tight joints are a chore to accomplish…Same species of wood but I had to get from 2 different piles . One a little darker than the other . This is gunna take a while ..
First attempt at steaming a plank .
25/30 baking time and it bent pretty easily. Got a late start had work for a while this morning .

Yeah , I put new blades in my planer and then hit a staple I didn’t see in the end of a plank .
Luckily it just messed up one blade . I flipped the blade over and it doing fine now ..
