    Hopefully those 3 games in London aren’t the scheduled home games . There’s gunna be some upset Jaguars fans if that happens .. The Swamp is the most logical place to play while the stadium is under construction.. It’s only 90 mins away and plenty big enough .

    Yeah It could be but they would only need to do one or two on the row . All of them seems a bit overkill ..It wouldn’t work like that on the sides . The plugs probably would not seat very well . The bottom was filled with filler so I guess it didn’t matter ..

    Every screw has been placed in on an angle in the bottom .. Either it was done that way for a reason or the guy that installed my boat bottom was the shortest guy on the crew ! LOL !!!

    I think I figured out why the resto shops charge 1000 bucks a foot on new wood bottoms .. This is some time consuming work !LOL ! It would go much faster if I wasn’t using the old planks as templates ..

    So we got our first look see under the hood … Yep definitely the original bottom . First look at the chine / outside frame rails is very promising! The area of normal concern looks great .. The bow area where you would think would be ok , looks a little suspect..

    Being a trailered boat I feel this is the best option . If it was moored for a season then The traditional type bottom would be ok . They have the West system that some use epoxy. Leaning away from that .. Most wood boat shops do the 5200 ..

    It’s what they call a no soak bottom . Originally the bottoms had a layer of canvas soaked with some type bedding/ lead compound in between the liner and outer bottom planks .     Last couple afternoons I threw together a motor stand . Never built one for an inboard . I basically just matched the stringer/motor mounts that were in the boat . That way I should be able to run it with the carb level . Thought it was a good idea I guess .
