I also did a little test of the filler I picked up to see how it would look ..
I wiped it down with a little paint thinner to see roughly how it would look after varnish ..
Got the initial scraping done in the bow area . Huge pita ! Every time I get into position and start to scrape my butt hold would break loose and I slip down the hill ...:facepalm:.. Then the buggery scrapings would fall down and I end up putting my elbows in it ..
then that starts to burn...
I like pictures with nice different textures ..This live oak in my front yard has that . Just playing around with a new Canon my wife got me for the b-day .

This was pre-cut and shine . I blue taped over the area and temp screwed it in place . Then traced under it with a sharpie ...
Arch I would have so many OSHA violations they would just have to haul me off .. I could never pay all the fines ..:lol:
Couple coats of white on today after a bit of clean up .. Looks ok but I did have a good bit of OP ... I think I will wet sand and maybe try a smaller tip . I was using a 1.5...
Now boat progress pics .
This was the hull after a soak in coat of epoxy resin .
And some fairing sanded out ..
First coat of primer and some touch up on the bow .
And the last 2 pics are second coat after wet sanding .
Sanded though in a few spots ....Not sure if I will shoot another...
I did manage to snag one 15" bass off the dock and a few catfish just messing around ..
I forgot to get some pics of the sight but here is the new to us class-c we purchased .
A make shift canopy over it that will have to do till the first of the year ..

Just got back from the Dora show GA seems that boat had a 250 hp ford motor .
With all the docks missing from the storm this years show was a lot smaller than last year .
A great time none the less !!
