Transom pickups sux. Priming issues….
I have scoop type, thru hull pickups on my bait and washdown pumps. No problems priming. Have water flow thru bait well w/o pump running if anchored (tidal flow)
It’s your boat, but anything below the water should have a seacock just in case...
Interesting…. “specially formulated for HVAC copper pipes, HVAC condenser coils, tanks, valves, pumps, castings, water jackets, radiators, etc., and “where there is not constant exposures to water” in the same paragraph

I run the E-series on my boat. Never had any problems.
Just wire direct to the battery. Easiest method is to move (combine) the cable on the “battery” terminal on switch over/with to “starter” terminal to by-pass the switch. Quick and easy
I’m running a 1997 Evinrude 200 Hp. Starting to look around to replace it for a number of issues
Evinrude is out of business. The cost of parts are on the rise. Availability is on a decline. Lots of OE parts are NLA.
Finding someone to work on mine has been an issue for a while now. Nobody...
Do you know that you have one?
Owners Manual says it’s an optional feature.
Can’t be hard to finds. Sits between fish box drain and thru hull to pump out
