    Ok so the carbs have been adjusted in a barrel and also in the river,when it wont start for a while the carbs seem slightly wet at front of carb throat and when plugs pulled they are wet,there is plenty of spark.

    Cheers mate Ive encased them in a box with a sprung small lid so basically you have to have your hand on the switches whilst holding lid up with your thumb. Still risky tho ,,,i do understand this and very cautious. Will search for another switch

    Cheers mate I was going by the numbers on the id ,serial plate.60073d This engine is a triumph with electronic ignition if that is any help. The short only came into play when i removed the gearbox.so as you can understand its alittle bit curious
