    I hadn't read this thread all the way through until tonight ... Newest car in our driveway is a 2004. And the latest addition is a 1992. Neither is perfect, but I'm feeling much better about both of 'em. ;)

    6 year anniversary of quitting smoking, yay me!!!

    Congrats - to any of you who quit. Dad died of the aftermath (MDS) of successfully beating lung cancer. Hallelujah - we got another 12 years with him after he beat it; but ultimately 40 years of smoking took him. Never stop quitting that stuff.

    I think there was a change somewhere in the late 70s on that boat. Early models were a shoal keel, but later models (and I think '82 would be) had a keel/centerboard.

    Do a little digging HERE. Sea King (I'm assuming yours is older / antique) was a Montogery Ward outboard. They were made by several different manufacturers. Welcome aboard.

    I've only seen 50HP in tiller "out-of-the-box." I believe they make a conversion kit for some outboards, but you'd have to do a little digging on that. Welcome aboard.
