So, what did you do today?

Let 'em do what DI's do ... his mom and I have probably wanted to some of it most of his life ;)

    Diningroom table - with epoxy?

I agree. I liked doing the smaller floods better. I could see what was happening ... and felt like I could control the bubbles a little bit more with the smaller pour. I avoided sanding because I didn't want the risk of what I was making that I couldn't buff everything out. I really wanted a...

Also: if you look at the last post made on the right side (it'll say how long ago the last post was), click that and it takes you to the last post.

So, what did you do today?

Real homemade applesauce! Wow, haven't had that in a while. Nice. Today was a wild day. Shipped the boy off to the USAF. He did a good job working out his options, killed it on his ASVABs and is now off to Lackland AFB.

    Doral 250se

Never seen one either myself. I'm sure people have made them as they've worked, or someone may have gotten hold of some old manufacturing diagrams, but I've never seen any.

    Diningroom table - with epoxy?

I can't quite picture in my head exactly what you're doing with the epoxy, but here's what I learned by not doing the full flood: level ain't as level as you think it is. I didn't plane my surface down, but I had purchased a factory finished table top. Apparently, either from the profile...

    Evinrude motor Purchase?

Can't tell you how they're handling warranties, but parts and service should be no problem on them. Parts should be pretty available for the foreseeable future.

    89 owners manual

Likely can't: boats don't have manuals like cars generally speaking. Probably get a shop manual for the outboard, and then ask questions on the forum for the rest of it. Welcome aboard.

    Buying Used Boat

Nope. Not always. Eventually stuff breaks, but a complete rebuild isn't always necessary.

    Sears Boat Year

@dmcm13 - Please do no post in topics over 90 days old unless you're the original poster. I've started a new topic for you. Might need to put up a few pictures, but we may not be able to even guess at it. SNs don't generally mean much, and lack of a true HIN means the boat was made before...

    Buying Used Boat

Yup: condition is king. Current boat is an '02. Previous boat was a '72. Both are in good condition. I'd still trust the '72 (a buddy has it).

    Building A Hardtop

This is similar: https://forums.iboats.com/threads/1977-orrion-becoming-an-ocean-animal.579140/ Was done quite a while ago. Not sure I'd do it, but it was interesting anyway.

    A Little Drawin'

Bored to death waiting for some renderings ... digital version of watching paint dry, so was doodling outboards and came up with this:

    Engine hours.

Welcome aboard. There may not be any way to tell. If there's no meter on the dash, there probably isn't a record. I'm assuming you bought the boat used and don't know how much it was used before you got it?

Been trying to figure that out too. I think I'm seeing that too. @scott.cooper @colonel_sanders

Has anyone seen one of these before

Chris Craft soaked up a few different manufacturers over the years in the 50s, 60s and even into the 70s if I've got things right. Not sure how rare it is in the sense of value (boats don't tend to work that way). But, it would be a looker the lake for sure. Welcome aboard.

    My first boat (project)

What you're seeing in JB's post is a listing of boats manufactured by Whitehouse by year with some specs. There's not going to be a manual for your boat. You're going to have to work based on what information you can get here on the forums and photographs you can find (if any).
