    leaking riveted starcraft ('82 MR180)

All that, but what I still can't wrap my head around is why it won't leak out when on the trailer. When I got home I dropped the tongue to the ground and filled up until it reached over halfway to the stern. Sat for an hour and only a couple drips from the keel drip hole. The water would...

    leaking riveted starcraft ('82 MR180)

Well, I jumped the gun and hit the ramp this morning. Beautiful, 60 degrees and sunny, only four boats at the ramp. I love my lake. Didn't have all the foam out I wanted but could resist. A beer an a tuna sandwich with ruffles. So, it appears the leak is under bow floor. I was not...

    Great loop speed record attempt

Yeah but those speed guys are speed guys. Plus after 3k plus miles a bunch of shoreline looks like a bunch of shoreline. We toyed with the idea using our small cruiser, good fuel burn at about 22 mph. Way faster than hull speed all the time.

    Great loop speed record attempt

Have seen some posts from this guy but just followed his page. He appears to be about my age aka old. Tiller 60 on a Jon boat. Current record appears to be held by a team, not one person like he is planning, at 19 days and 19 hours. His page...

Back for More! Looking into a bigger boat for big water - Deck or other

Are you actually looking to fit 10 people? Remember the limits are inclusive of gear and such. Be cognizant of total weight, especially if you are playing in or around big waters. Keep in mind that those numbers are from 40 plus years ago when Americans like me were not all fat. Iirc...
