    I can backup Chris' statement. The previous owner of my boat did a re-deck and when I removed it the rest of the structure was toast! If you read through many of the rebuilds on here you'll see "the floor is the last to rot" mentioned somewhere.

    The reason for me wanting to replace them is I have alot of vertical play and was concerned about the meshing to the auxiliary shaft in the engine. I only believe it's excessive from articles I have read but there were still many different opinions.
