    1997 Mirrocraft 18' aluminum fish n ski

No, the Cost of AC is Cheap for the Comfort it provides. I would keep my house at 18C(64F) year round, plus have addition Dehumidifiers running(I like it really really Dry.)

    New Stuff on Vehicles likes/dislikes

Nothing in front showing where the Tires are in relation to the Hoist Ramps, and nothing that indicates you are still centered, as you drive Forward. As for backing in to Parking Stalls, I usually try to find a Stall where I can drive thru to the Next Stall, that way I can leave going Forward...

    1979 80HP Mercury

Turn the Key, it it doesn't catch and run, give it a bit of Throttle. Unless you are boating in sub-freezing Temps, the Motor isn't going to cool down too much in an hour. If it still doesn't want to run, try a bit of Choke, with the Throttle still advanced If still no Joy, the Engine needs some...

That works if you can calculate where the Wheels are on the Car, I can't put a Car on a Drive On Hoist, even if a Gun were held to my Head

New study on tow boat environmental impact

I think the concern is the Wake Messing up the Lake/River Bottom, not the Bottom messing up the Wake, which in my Opinion would be Good News

That design did cross my mind when I wrote the initial response. It makes some sense, as that is not a Drain Plug, but a Vent/Level Plug. To Drain the Transmission, the Pan is removed, and hopefully cleaned and the Filter replaced.

Actually that isn't a bad Idea, as there would be a Vent, like how you fill a Gearcase on an Outboard or I/O. A lot more Difficult to Overfill

A lot of Brilliant People overfill the Units too, and never consider the Temp of the Fluid, in regards to the Level. Every Time my Cars get serviced, when the OLM comes on, usually less than 6 months and about 9000km, the Level is checked and the Seal Areas inspected for signs of leakage...

Tell that to the Owners of the GM 3.6 LTT Engines after DI was introduced. Extended Oil Change Intervals, even as low as 8000 miles resulted in Excessive Chain Wear. Mine were replaced after 8 yrs and 70,000, under Warranty. GM extended the Warranty to 10 yr and well over 100K.

The Main Reason, is that a lot of todays Transmissions use a very Specific Fluid, which is NOT Cheap. If there was a Dipstick on the Transmission, not just the One operating the Vehicle, and for whatever reason, the 2nd Dipstick, figured it needed Fluid, they might balk at the Price of the...

    1998 9.9 Mercury 2 stroke idling issue

Unless you have Kal-El's X-Ray Vision, you aren't going to be able to see a clogged or dirty Fuel Circuit, until you take the Carb apart, that includes any Covers(look like small frost Plugs)

    1998 9.9 Mercury 2 stroke idling issue

I do not know which Screw you are referring to as the Idle Screw. Turning the wrong one can throw the Sync between the Carb and Ignition Advance out the Window. As for the Idle mixture Screw, 1 1/2 Turns out from "lightly seated" is the usual Initial setting. It will be overly Rich, but will...

Amazon offers a Wiring Harness for GM that plugs into the Hood Switch that permanently disables that Horrible Feature, no button Pressing required. My car didn't have disable button, but that Harness fixed that Problem, cost was about $15(us). Security and Remote Start are not affected by it either.

The Electric E Brake can be set up to hold the Car from rolling back on a hill when you take your foot off the Service Brake and before you put it on the Gas Pedal. It is a bit of a pain when you change Brake Pads, cause the Screwjack, used has to be retracted before you can press the Caliper...
