    I've got pertronix ignition. The only gauge that is high is ammeter. It doesn't do it if I'm idling along when I get on the throttle it starts. Feels like it's running out of gas kinda. Chug chug chug and dead if that makes any sense

    Good day I have cleaned and replaced any suspicious wiring and went out yesterday. Boat ran great. Fished for few hours at anchor and when I went to move the boat started cutting out and stalled. Rest of the day same thing. The gauges are not doing what they were aside from ammeter..running...

    Morning, ya shoot I was talking slave you are right. It's a ford 302, boat is a 1975. One wire is on the positive and one wire is from main harness on the 50 amp.

    I would pull the bolt out that goes into the valve cover and undo at carb..should come free I believe

    Picture one is...bat 1 to post 1 on switch. Bat 2..on bat..2 on switch...common has one directly to starter and 1 cable to left side of solinoid...when I turn it to bat 1 it cranks over..with out key. What in the heck have I done wrong

    Good day..installing a switch that has off , 1..2..and both..little confused on what goes to the common post. Was mentioned just the starter wire how ever a vidio I watched showed all the positive leads. Any help appreciated
