    10' sitin kayak

I love to kayak fish, getting out after a couple of hours is problematic though.

    10' sitin kayak

You are in zero risk from electrocution with a 12 volt battery. A deep cycle battery in a 10 foot kayak may be another challenge though.

Tried to help a guy selling a vintage Alumacraft

There is a tag on an alumacraft Transom that has the model on it but if the boat is left outside over the years the tag may have faded. A Deep C is worth about the same as a Flying D, this one had holes in the dash that drive down any value. He said it was his dads that he bought in 1954. There...

Tried to help a guy selling a vintage Alumacraft

Based on his voicemail I am thinking he is more like 12 pack stupid. It is kinda funny when an idiot that is dead wrong insists on telling you how wrong you are.

Tried to help a guy selling a vintage Alumacraft

So even though I am not in the market I still scan Craigs on a regular basis. Guy has a flying D for sale, he has it listed as a flying C. I sent the guy a text and simply stated that he has a flying D and if he sends Alumacraft the number on the knee of the transom they will give you the model...

    1973 lund tyee offshore

I have a vintage lund boat I have also collected old Alumacrafts and for the most part hulls of that era are pretty basic, instrumentation was after market nothing really unique about them other than good quality materials and construction.

    1973 lund tyee offshore

It is an aluminum hull with a wood floor covered by carpet or vinyl, nothing much to it back in that era.

    Pontoon in the snow

Well got the dock out, I told myself that this will be the hardest pull since I had no idea what the dock was sitting on. The 14' end poles would have been nice to know that they had auger ends instead of feet, there were wheels as well that we did not know about. The air bag really helped well...

Dock coming out tomorrow, I do not want to get in the water.

    Pontoon in the snow

What a treat had an early snowfall with a couple follow up blasts. If you think that maneuvering a pontoon trailer in 8" of snow would suck you would be right. We did get the pontoon up the snow covered hill eventually. No equipment was harmed so that was a bonus.
