    Nobody fishing?

Off topic and late to the show but this reminded me of a guy in a bar one night that for no reason decided to punch the bar keep. The cops showed and it took 7 cops to take this guy down and get him in the car. His last words before they closed the door were Obviously you guys aren’t from Texas.

Boat is put away for winter. What to do every day ?

I got my sister one of those for Christmas in the 80’s as she was constantly burning the jiffy pop. I was an Orval fan myself and always used a regular old frying pan with another frying pan for the lid so there was lots of room. I don’t have teeth anymore so I don’t make it to often. I tried...

Boat is put away for winter. What to do every day ?

Many people don’t even know that’s possible these days. I can’t remember the last time I saw a jar or bag of just kernels. But then again I’m in a small town.

I still find myself using my mirrors but I have to say they sure are handy for lining up the trailer.

I was thinking about selling my 90 4Runner but after reading all stuff I think I might be better off keeping as old reliable. She has never let me down.

I have always admired the body styles of the older cars over your way as opposed to the same make here in the US. For what ever reason they just look better than ours. And I believe they were a bit faster as well.

I love the Hilux. I wish we had them here in the US. I was talking a guy the other day about them and said I wish I could get one and he said why they are just a basic truck and my reply was exactly. Basic simple and reliable. I have heard of people importing them here but apparently the import...

    Prop problem

For what it’s worth I think you have made a good decision getting your prop fixed. You can go into a rabbit hole trying to gain an extra bit of speed. Unless your way way off on pitch and your likely not it’s not going to make a big difference unless your trying to win a race. Get one of those...

    New Stuff on Vehicles likes/dislikes

Remember when bumpers were made for bumping. Now days cars have thousands worth of damage when the bumpers rip off and takes all the sensors with it from scraping a tree. And a little fender bender turns into a total loss.

    Prop problem

Your answer is in post 3. The prop hub did what it was designed to do and failed before damaging the more expensive parts. They are a sacrificial part. It will hold a lower speeds and usually get you home but the faster you go the more the hub slips. Hope that helps.

    Battery power for propane fireplace

I split by hand for years as well but my back is not up to the task anymore so I bit the bullet and got a splitter. I get all my wood for free so it makes sence for me to continue on. I do some tree work myself and have friends in the bizz that even drop it off at my house. All I have to do buck...

    Battery power for propane fireplace

Is the fireplace a plug in or hard wired? An inverter might be the way to go to play it safe. I heat with wood and we lose power all the time in the winter so I’m happy with my wood stove. It heats the whole house. I do have a gas furnace, electric baseboards along with a generator so I’m...

    trim tab hose repair

If it’s a barbed fitting it should work. If push comes to shove take it to a hydraulic shop and have them crimp it. My local Napa auto parts does hydraulic lines but I’m not sure it they all do. Best

I knew of a guy that a had a brand new Saturn a few years ago and he hit a rock and needed a new control arm. He had to wait 3 months for the part but I guess he did get it as some stuff seems to just be unavailable. It’s crazy. I saw vid not long along of a guy that bought a wreaked cyber...
