    Bad day for this guy

Well he didn’t get far. I fact he didn’t even leave the dock. I helped him get it water and tied to the dock and 15 minutes later she was going down. Back on the beach she went.

    Bad day for this guy

Agreed. He only has about 1 1/2 miles to go to get back to the ramp. I’ll try and help him get it back in the water at high tide today and keep my fingers crossed for him. The body of water is Vineyard Sound. Cape Cod Mass.

    Bad day for this guy

He was very calm giving the situation he was in. He even lost his phone in the surf and didn’t flip out. Poor guy broke his knee last October and has been cooped up and out of work since and this was his trip out for the since then.

This guy broke down Wednesday night and tied up to our dock and walked home at 4 am. He didn’t back until about 2.30 yesterday afternoon and it was a windy day. The stern cleat had rip out and the boat swung around and smash into the rocks which left him with a few holes in the hull and a lot...

What do you Recommend for Beautifying a Teak Swimstep?

Plane on doing a lot of varnishing. Once you start you have to keep up. For me oil is the only way to go.

    Brown transmission fluid

Think positive. Brown is a darker shade of red.😂 Any idea of when it was last done. As you mentioned it didn’t sell burnt so that’s a good start. I wish you all the best on the next check.

Slip/moored boat what do you do with your trailer?

Wow! I have never heard of that. Back in 80’s a new shop opened and the guy fenced it in because props were commonly stolen and he did t want to bother with removing them but the fence didn’t matter. So he got a yard dog and that stopped the thefts. The dog was very friendly by day but forget...

    20volt drill

I agree and I do tie things off that I may drop as well but in this case I’m planning the install around dead low tide and I still will be just an inch or two from the water. If I do drop it it will save me from diving for it but it’s still gona get wet.

    20volt drill

Just an update. It’s been almost a year now since my drill went for a swim. To my surprise it’s still going strong. I thought about it this morning as tomorrow I’ll be working off a ladder to attach a bracket to the side of a piling and there will be a chance that it goes for a swim again. I...
