    Okay, no change in pitch, no change in Rpm, but lost 6-7 mph. Either your slip numbers went thru the Roof, otherwise the numbers aren't making any sense

    A neighbour at the lake had the 1974 model of that boat. He had a 74 Evinrude 115 on it. I only saw him use it twice in 8 years, the rest of the time it sat in the water getting the hull all gucked up.

    Any where there is a Current, the GPS will be off in both directions, as it is not taking the speed of the water into the equation. if the current is 6 mph, and the water Speedo is saying 20 mph, in one direction GPS will say 26mph, and going the other way, it will say 14mph

    Water can also get in the Drain and Vent Holes, which is why it is important to replace the gaskets any time the screws are loosened

    105ft-lbs would ruin the Flywheel and quite possibly, the Crankshaft as well

    GPS has inherent Errors for watercraft as it is measuring speed across the bottom of the lake, not speed across the water.

    Attempting to shift into gear, without either the Propshaft or the Driveshaft rotating is likely the reason.

    Exhaust tuner and pistons, are different. Can't get the Part #s for the blocks so, can't tell Even if you were to get those extra HP, it will get you about 2 more mph, and slower holeshot

    it goes to the Speedometer, the end your holding likely came off of the fitting on the top of the gearcase. It looks like it got pinched as well.

    The case likely has to come apart again. Are you one who slams it into gear or do you ease it into gear?
