    A couple Russian guys that fish from the bank near the launch at the one lake I fish are carp guys. They get some nice ones. They eat em. They told me I would love eating carp the way they prepare them. Hard pass.

    Same around here. Lots of boats sitting out, quite a few uncovered. Guy built a huge new home on a big parcel about two mile up the road. Brand new boat. Probably as big as you can trailer without a permit. Been sitting in the same spot for two years.

    I agree with this. I’m running a Garmin transom mount GT 56 transducer and get crystal clear accurate readings at 10 MPH up to 25 MPH

    Not a fan of wake boats. I think they have their place. The one lake mentioned is only a tad more than 700 acres and only 12 foot deep. Pretty small. Don’t blame the locals.

    My insurance company sent an offer for a free water alarm for the house. I’m not quite sure what’s involved. I was under the impression it di the whole house. Admittedly I haven’t looked into those alarms at all.
