    Yamaha with Water in Oil

    If it the engine oil, is it a lot or just a trace. When I changed mine last fall there were a couple of streaks of faint white on the top of the dipstick. I put that down to condensation from the air. You want to be careful though, it could be serious.

    I think it originally was introduced as a way to lower gas consumption and probably CO2 emmisions. Ethanol is a renewable resource so whatever CO2 is released is reabsorbed in the next crop so to speak. Probably was good for farmers as well as it gave them another buyer of corn.

    Overheating, again

    I'm no expert, but that looks like plenty of water coming out of the pump. Are you sure there is not something clogging up the passage ways in the engine, or maybe a thermostat that won't open properly?
