Almost ready to apply the decals .. about half the pieces clearcoated now . The other half has the color on them . The only thing left to prep and paint is the tiller handle . Not planing on using it but gunna paint it anyway .

Still working on the prop from time to time . Have gone from 120 to 2000 so far just sanding ..Haven’t put the buffing wheel on it yet... probably use some Brasso or Mother’s on it too ..

I used the JB Weld on the tank .. Worked just fine I think . Did a couple of light dusting with the self etching then followed up with the rusto clean metal primer ..
Had a couple bad runs because I wasn’t paying attention on the one piece .. I’ll sand it out and see how it looks ..

The prop is gunna get shined up . I might can talk the Admiral into working on that . At least get it close then I could finish it up .

Did a little fine tuning on the templates for the wind shield . I had a scrap piece of plexiglass I dug out of the dumpster at work . Was thinking instead of a gasket or trim maybe just install these standard window clips ...

Im making templates for the WS . Side by side comparison. Do you like the slightly raised with the rounded corners on top or the straight curved top of the glass . I think they both would look good but leaning toward the straight top ...

‘I think this is coat #3 varnish on the floor pieces . Probably a couple more and call em done . Digging into the Speeditwin soon I think .. Also need to look into and make decisions on the windshield ..

I got cleared o go back to work last Thursday.. No BLT’s . Feels good to walk up a stair case without your legs feeling like jello ... I still find myself wanting to do more like Woody said .. I got my son to get the deck pieces I made out of the boat so I can start the finish on them...
